As a result of our successful holidays to Italy, l have been asked by our Members about another holiday to this popular country. This has resulted in me going to Italy, during August, where l have been negotiating and making the arrangements for our fantastic 10 day 9 night coaching holiday to Cadenabbia, Lake Como, Northern Italy, with included coach excursions to Milan, Bergamo Old Town (Città Alta), Como, Lake Maggorie, Stresa, and an unforgettable experience as we ride on the Bernina Express railway through the mountains from Tirano towards St Moritz, Switzerland. Channel Crossing will be by Eurotunnel shuttle trains and overnight accommodation to and from Italy will be in Metz area of France. We will be staying for 7 nights at the fabulous and very exclusive 4 star GRAND HOTEL CADENABBIA, on the western side of Lake Como. I visited this Hotel and found it to be of an extremely high standard, it is one of the best hotels on the Lake. Our accommodation will be on a half board basis. The location of the Hotel will give you stunning unrestricted views of Lake Como, and Belagio, with breathtaking views of the mountains. Our Hotel provides the perfect combination of stunning views of the lake within the superior comfort of a UNIQUE and ENCHANTING HOTEL. At one time a private villa, the Grand Hotel Cadenabbia, is not simply a hotel of charm. The main downstairs rooms are adorned with ancient stucco-work, mirrors, frescos and majestic columns. In the hotel’s gardens, which descend to the lake from the hills above, rare plants flourish amidst palm-trees, which border paths with secluded benches, set in romantic niches. Every comfort awaits you from a rooftop terrace to a spacious panoramic restaurant and stylish marble-floored public areas. Lake view room supplement £9.00p per person per night. Lake view and balcony room supplement £16.00p per person per night.

Single supplement £210.00p per person. Travel insurance £60.00p per person with no upper age limit.

There are various different types of accommodation available at the GRAND HOTEL CADENABBIA, when making your reservation could you kindly state which of the following you require, as rooms will be booked on an individual basis within our allocation:-

1) Single, Twin or Double bedroom.

2) Standard bedroom, (at rear of Hotel), Lake View bedroom or Lake View and Balcony bedroom.

3) Bathroom with bath or shower only or bath and shower.

Depending on your chosen accommodation, your requested bedroom type will be booked on receipt of your deposit. To ensure you have the type of bedroom you would prefer, l strongly recommend you make your reservation as soon as possible. No further payments will be due until the balance payment date Friday 29th June 2012.
