A coach excursion has been arranged as we make a welcome return to Savill Garden, which is one of England’s hidden secrets giving us a very different but a full and varied coach outing. We will travel to Savill Gardens, in Great Windsor Park, for a self-guided tour; our visit will include lunch in the Savill Building after which we will re-board our coach for the transfer to Runnymede where we will board our boat for a 2 hour return cruise from Runnymede towards Windsor, on the River Thames, during which a cream tea will be served. This will certainly be a lovely way to spend a relaxing summer’s day.

Savill Garden is one of Britain's finest ornamental gardens and is a true wonder. It's a garden for all seasons and a place of beauty and colour that's loved by horticulturalists and enthusiasts alike. You can explore 35 acres of interconnecting gardens and exotic woodland. Every garden has its own unique attraction, featuring a distinctive group of plants that introduce a fresh burst of vibrant colour throughout the seasons. Savill Garden features plants from all over the world, step inside and explore a world of plants in The Hidden Gardens, The Summer Gardens, The New Zealand Garden, The Spring Wood, The Summer Wood, The Glades, The Autumn Wood and The Azalea Walks. The Rose Garden, opened by Her Majesty the Queen in 2010, is a magnificent addition; you can wander amongst the swirls of rose beds and enjoy the perfume at its best from a walkway that rises into the centre of the Rose Garden. A hot lunch is included during our visit at the Savill Building. There is also a gift shop and refreshment facilities on site. What better way to relax after our visit to Savill Gardens than a leisurely cruise on the River Thames with a return trip from historic Runnymede towards Windsor, when a cream tea will be served to you.
